  • LITIGATION ASSOCIATE (SAN FRANCISCO)
    If you're interested in working on complex, high-stakes litigation in the technology and privacy realm, Edelson PC is currently seeking an experienced litigation associate for its San Francisco office. Primary responsibilities will include: briefing appellate and complex issues, advanced legal research, and general litigation matters (i.e. court appearances, case management, the negotiation/drafting of settlements). Candidates should have the following:
      • Excellent academic record from an accredited law school
      • 1–4 years of litigation experience
      • Intellectual creativity and ability to navigate issues of first impression
      • Superior writing and research skills
      • Clerkship experience preferred

  • STAFF ATTORNEY
    Looking to work on complex, high-stakes litigation in the technology and privacy realm? Edelson PC offers the opportunity to work on cutting edge issues of first impression against corporate giants like Sony, Microsoft, Google, and LinkedIn. Edelson is currently seeking staff attorneys to assist in all aspects of litigation--preparation of pleadings, drafting and responding to discovery, etc.--for its Chicago and San Francisco offices. Responsibilities include:
    • Drafting pleadings, routine motions, and correspondence;
    • Assistance with drafting and responding to discovery;
    • Legal research; and
    • Providing general litigation support to partners and associates.
    Candidates should possess two to four years of litigation experience, good academic credentials (top 30% of class preferred), and strong writing and communication skills. Starting compensation is $60k-80k (depending on experience) with full benefits. Note: this is not a partner track position.   • PARALEGAL
    We're looking for a Full Time Paralegal for both our San Francisco and Chicago offices. The job will require the candidate to work hand-in-hand with the firm’s lawyers and assist in legal preparation, cite checking and routine motions.   Responsibilities:
    • Handle online and in-person legal filings
    • Cite-check and finalize legal documents, including drafting and reviewing Table of Contents and Table of Authorities
    • Organize and maintain case files
    • Cross-check and validate client information
    • Assist with routine motion and discovery
    • Prepare and deliver courtesy copies
    • Manage the firm’s online calendaring and docketing system
    • Receive calls from and return calls of potential clients
      Required Qualifications:
    • At least 2 years’ prior paralegal experience (or experience in a similar position)
    • Experience with and understanding of Blue Book citation requirements
    • Experience with federal ECF filing system
    • Excellent verbal and client service skills
    • Experience with Excel and/or Google Sheets
    • Highly self-motivated
      Desirable Qualifications:
    • Prior experience at a class action law firm
    • Associates degree in Paralegal studies
    • Ability to conduct legal research i.e. familiarity with Westlaw, LexisNexis
      Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 DOE Eligible employees can participate in Edelson PC’s comprehensive benefit program including healthcare, life and disability insurance, a 401k plan, and more.
