Several states around the nation have passed so-called "revival statutes" or "revival windows" that allow victims of sexual abuse to bring otherwise expired claims against their abusers for a limited amount of time. These states include:
- California: revival window open until January 2023
- New Jersey: revival window open until 2021
- Arizona: revival window open until the end of 2020
- Montana: revival window open until May 2002
- North Carolina: revival window open until January 2022
- Washington, DC: revival window open until May 2021
- New York: revival window open until August 2020
- Vermont: no time restrictions on filing claims
