Curriculum Vitae

ALANA LAWTON is a Staff Attorney at Edelson PC where her work focuses on assisting individuals and government entities in mass tort and government enforcement actions.


Currently, Alana works closely with hundreds of clients who lost their homes and businesses in the 2018 Camp Fire as their lead contact at Edelson. As part of this effort, she prepared hundreds of claim submissions to the Fire Victim Trust, and continues to monitor and manage those claims. Alana is also involved in Edelson’s discovery efforts on behalf of the District of Columbia in their government enforcement actions against JUUL, for its deceptive marketing practices, and Facebook, for its role in the Cambridge Analytica scandal.


During law school, Alana was a student attorney in the Veterans Clinic where she represented United States Military Veterans in guardianship, divorce, and child support actions. Alana was also captain of her school’s ABA Negotiations Team. In her spare time, Alana coaches the mock trial team at Saint Ignatius College Prep.
