KEARA KEELTY is a paralegal at Edelson PC where she focuses on Mass Torts casework. ‬
She developed a strong interest for pursuing legal research and client communications both through‬ her previous internships with the Public Relations firm, the Dilenschneider Group, and her internship with the‬ Washtenaw County Office of the Public Defender in Ann Arbor, Michigan. At the Dilenschneider Group, she wrote press‬ releases, strategy memos, op-eds, trend report summaries, and marketing strategies for a recently published book. Through her Public Defender’s Office internship within the felony division, she assisted the attorneys in any necessary‬ capacity, such as with analyzing Pre-Sentencing Reports with clients and answering their questions,‬ documenting detailed notes per each Public Defender case in circuit court, as well as updating legal‬ databases with case developments. Her experience at this office thoroughly contributed to her‬ professional interests in ensuring comprehensive legal resources and advocacy for all clients. In her free time, Keara enjoys hot yoga, reading, cooking, and finding new restaurants!
