The L.A. Times has named our Chief of Staff, Kelsey McCann, a “DEIA Visionary” for 2024. The list of less than 100 people highlights game changers in the world of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility. Led by Kelsey’s mulit-faceted approach — including speaking out publicly about diversity issues within the plaintiffs’ bar, providing thoughtful and intentional training for new associates, and reaching out broadly with the firm’s recruiting efforts — Edelson PC is now recognized as one of the most diverse high-stakes plaintiffs’ firms, earning the Diversity Initiative Award from The National Law Journal. In addition, the firm aids first-generation students aspiring to law school through Kelsey’s work with the DePaul University’s First Generation in Law Scholars Program.
