Curriculum Vitae
SCHUYLER DAUM is an Associate at Edelson PC, where she works on the mass torts and trial teams. Her practice focuses on holding businesses that use ethylene oxide accountable for causing community members’ cancer and seeking justice for wildfire survivors.
Before joining Edelson, Schuyler was an Assistant Attorney General in the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office, where she led the Consumer Protection Division’s Fringe Lending Team. Her investigations and litigation resulted in millions of dollars returned to consumers. She began her career as a public defender with the Massachusetts Committee for Public Counsel Services, where she tried jury cases from selection to verdict, litigated evidentiary hearings and motions to suppress, and successfully appealed a petition for extraordinary relief to the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court. She won the Peter J. Muse Award for best defense attorney in the statewide trial tournament.
