SYDNEY BARACEROS is a Legal Intake Specialist at Edelson PC. Prior to joining Edelson, Sydney interned at California State University Fullerton’s Allied Health Program which champions diversity and inclusivity in the Orange County healthcare industry. Her love for serving her community led her to intern at the Orange County Asian Pacific Islander Community Alliance to uplift the youth in her area. Sydney’s interest in the legal and legislative industry took off when she served as a student lobbyist for UCSA, the University of California Student Association. In this role, she advocated for students within the UC system and pushed for reforms in financial aid loans, FAFSA, and campus safety. Sydney has served as a member of Congresswoman Katie Porter’s youth advisory board. In this position, she and her peers collaborated to advise Congresswoman on legislation and initiatives that had a direct impact on students.
