Law360 (April 26, 2023, 2:03 PM EDT) — Before Jay Edelson dove headfirst into law school, he was so shy he couldn’t even pick up the phone to order a pizza. But Edelson decided he wasn’t going to let his introverted nature keep him from making a positive impact on the world.
As an undergraduate at Brandeis University, where he studied philosophy, Edelson saw two options for his future: he could pursue a career where his introverted side would thrive, and he could live a quiet existence, or he could stretch himself by jumping into the University of Michigan Law School and tossing his hat into the ring to fight for justice.
